Cargo parachute system SPG-68 is designed for cargo airdrops such as, canned goods, concentrates, standard barrels, oilcans etc., flight weight from 80 till 160 kg. from aircrafts on the airspeed from 110 till 360 km/h with altitude 150 till 2000m.

Construction SPG-68 provides 3 input types:

• forced container opening (height drop 150-2000m)
• Stabilization the goods falling (at specified height or time of not less than 3 sec, drop height 300-2000m);
• delay of opening the container (openingperforming with a pyrotechnic cutter type R4M or parachute semiautomatic PPK-U-405A).

The parachute canopy 68 sq.m - 8 sectional, is made from fabric type F-111 with low permeability to air.
Canopy is equipped with Microline lines with strength 430kGs. The line length is 7,5m.
