The motor paraglider «Tracer» was developed by Paraavis for pilots - sportsmen constantly participating in competitions.
Tracer is characterized by: light start, high maximum speed, maneuverability, a wide range of speeds, and a stable flight on the accelerator.
Not long ago we started a serial production a sport paraglider «Tracer» for flight with motor. This wing was created for advanced and Frequent Flyers pilots, pilots-sportsmen, who prefer dynamic flights.
Thanks to turns with small radius, high speed and possibility of using accelerator «Tracer» wonderfully good for aerodrome exercises, such as slalom around pylons and stakes.
A wide range of speeds let to a pilot to make effective exercise «Mini-Maxi».
High aerodynamic quality makes this paraglider an excellent soarer in its class, which makes it possible to show the best results on exercises using updraughts, and also to save fuel in exercises with a limited fuel supply.
«Shark nose» technology used on this paraglider, has improved the flow around the leading edge and to provide a more optimal distribution of pressure inside the wing at all angles of attack. Synthetic stiffness in the leading edge simplifies the start and increases the stability of the wing to the addition at high speeds. Greater elongation, more sections and arched have made this wing more economical and more maneuverable.
2D control system is used on the Tracer that has proven itself in sports paragliders.
There 2 control lines go to each toggle: the inner one - passes through the block from the central part of the trailing edge, the outer one - directly from the edges of the wing consoles. This configuration allows you to control the wing strict.
At low speeds for control, the basic toggles can be used, at high speeds (with fully released trim tabs and depressed accelerator), should only used external control lines.
After adjusting the toggles, an experienced pilot can set up the "2D" control system in accordance with his preferences.
"Tracer" comes with PowerAttack system. This system allows you to combine trim tabs and accelerator in a single system in such a way that when you press the accelerator step, trim tabs are released at the same time and automatically.
On "Tracer 20" Knyazev Pavel won the first place in the Russian motorsport paragliding championship in 2017 in the class of single-seat powered paragliders, which proves the high competitive performance of this paraglider.
