PARAGLIDER RIO (TANDEM)

The company Paraavis is coming back on the market Paraavis tandem with new paraglider model - Rio. We were inspired by the incredible success of the paraglider Joy, as well as a large tandem experience of our test pilot Anatoly Lomovtceva. In the process of creation, we have taken as a basis for two models: Joy and our engine wing Zorro-2 42.

The result we have designed the optimal size, removed needless, added new ideas and developed, polished by experience Anatoly as long as he admitted: "this tandem is not ashamed to offer to my colleagues."

At the end result Rio inherited the best qualities of its predecessors. As well as Joy, the new tandem differ high aerodynamic quality, soft behavior in turbulence, ease of operation and maneuverability comparable to single wings. With motor Zorro-42 it is related a large speed range and high stability.

Particular attention has been paid to the wing weight (which is necessary for the easy start during light wind).For this purpose paraglider Rio has been tested by us and for the first time applied technology "fan knee plate", which is visibly reduces glider weight without reducing the strength and life of the wing. Appearance of this new technology - lightweight, strong, but difficult in the cut out would not be possible without the use of our laser cutting parts.  

There is also a modern tandem paraglider increased requirements to provide a soft landing with a heavy passenger in windless conditions. For this purpose we have combined the technology "tie tailing edge" at the original scheme, which has a neat design, in which the ties mechanism is hidden inside the canopy and does not create additional resistance in the incoming stream.

And of course, in a paraglider Rio there is a set of other modern technologies. Its is a nylon amplification of the leading edge, trailing wedges a short distance from the canopy to the rises of which, in combination with high-quality lines Liros gives you a record low resistance, which means a longer joint flight.
